Nancy Charlene Evans

Nancy "Charlene" Dilbeck Evans, age 86, passed away on October 1, 2026. Born on April 28, 1940, Charlene was a remarkably loving and hard-working woman of the Christian faith whose dedication to her family touched the lives of all who knew her.

Charlene devoted many years of faithful service working for Imperial Reading in LaFollette, Tennessee. Her strong work ethic was matched only by her gentle heart and steady presence as a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt.

She was preceded in death by her father, Luther Dilbeck; her mother, Bertha Douglas Dilbeck; and her siblings, Hester Hooks, Mary Ellen Siler, Marie Bolton, Roberta Daugherty, Robert Dilbeck, and Mack Dilbeck.

Charlene’s legacy of love lives on through her surviving family. She is survived by her two children, Ronald Evans and Leslie Wood; her grandchildren, Westley Monroe and Ashley Cook (Derik); and her four great-grandchildren, Abigail, Miriam, Gabriel, and James. She also leaves behind many special nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly, as well as extended family and friends.
