Naomi Christine Byrge

Naomi Christine Byrge age 85 of Lafollette passed away Sunday, May 30, 2010 at the Mercy Hospice in Knoxville. She was a member of High Street Missionary Baptist Church and was a lifetime member of D.A.V. Auxillany. Mrs. Byrge enjoyed working with flowers and loved her grandkids and family very much.

Preceded in death by Husband: Elmer Byrge. Son: Marvin Byrge. Parents: Birt and Ethel Bailey Longmire. Brothers: Earl Longmire and L.C. Longmire. Sister: Gladys Morris.

Survived by Sons: Gary Byrge and Wife: Patsy of Jacksboro. Donnie Byrge and Wife: Margaret of Lafollette. 4 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Granchildren. Brother: Dewey Longmire of Orange, TX. Sisters: Ada Mae Woods of Lafollette and Rosalie Huff of VA. Several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Service will be 2 PM Wednesday, June 2 at High Street Baptist Church with Rev. James Adkins and Rev. Eddie Bridges officiating. Mrs. Byrge will lie in state from 1 until 2 PM before service. Interment will follow in Bakers Forge Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 1 from 6 until 8 PM in Martin Wilson Chapel.
