Naomi Faye Wilhoit

Naomi Ivey Wilhoit age 68 of LaFollette passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, and gardening. She loved taking care of the many children she baby sit over the years.

She is preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Cora (Maxwell) Ivey; infant brother Anthony Ivey; father and mother-in-law George and Sally Wilhoit.

She is survived by her husband of fifty one year's Dean Wilhoit; sons Dean Wilhoit Jr., and Bobby Wilhoit; daughter Pamela Bolton; grandchildren Eric Morton, Cassie Wilhoit, Callie Wilhoit, Bobby Wilhoit Jr., Joshua Bolton, Jennifer Currier and Liam Wilhoit; great grandchildren Terrance Morton, Justin Wilhoit, Lydia Brooks, and Braxton Currier all of LaFollette; brothers Johnny Ivey, Jimmy Ivey, Jesse Ivey of LaFollette; sisters Christine Holbrook of Indiana, Jeanette Ivey and JoAnn Kinyon of Florida, Diana Myers of LaFollette and Darlene Phillips of Jacksboro; and a host of nieces and nephews and extended family.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life service for Naomi Sunday, April 3, 2016 from 6-7pm in the chapel at Martin Wilson Funeral Home in LaFollette with Rev. Jimmy Griffith officiating.
