Nelle Crenshaw

Nelle Pearman Crenshaw, 94 years young passed away Thursday, July 22, 2010 at NHC Fort Sanders in Knoxville, TN. She was born March 11, 1916 to Alford H. and Vina Pearman Sharp of Powell Valley, Speedwell, TN. Nelle held jobs from Oak Ridge, TN to San Diego, CA. She retired as Director of Environmental Services at the former Lafollette Community Hospital. She had a gift for staying young at heart her entire life. Nelle was a member of Haynes Flatt Baptist Church, Speedwell, TN.

Preceded in death by Husband: Robert "Bob" Crenshaw. Parents: Alford H. and Vina Pearman Sharp. Brother: Carl S. Sharp and Twin Sister: Melle Sharp.

Nelle is survived by Nephew: John S. Sharp and wife Nancy Sharp of Knoxville, TN. Grandnephews: John M. and Billy Sharp of Knoxville, TN. Stepson: Robert Crenshaw and wife Betty Crenshaw of Virginia and their family. Special Friends: Vicki Johnston of Kingsport, TN and Lucy Zanoni of Lafollette, TN.

Funeral Service will be 6 PM Sunday, July 25, 2010 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. G. Michael Sledge and Rev. Clyde Lakin officiating. Interment will be 10:30 AM Monday in Yoakum Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 PM Sunday before funeral service.
