Nila Charlette (Leach) Russell

Nila Charlette Russell, age 72 of Speedwell went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 9, 2017.  She was of the Baptist faith.  Nila was a very loving Mother, and grandmother that enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She loved going to church and cooking for her family.

She is preceded in death by husband William Eddie Russell; parents Cas and Emma (Hopper) Leach; sister Wanda Barnes.

She is survived by sons Matthew Russell and wife Laura of LaFollette, & Chad Russell of Speedwell; brothers Pete Leach & John Leach, both of Knoxville; sisters Reba Medley & Clayette Graves, both of Speedwell; grandchildren Benjamin, Isaac, Timmy, and Rylee Russell.

Visitation for Nila will be 5-8 PM Friday, August 11, 2017 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home followed by funeral service at 8 PM with Rev. Tim Dupuy, Rev. Delmus Bruce, & Rev. Sampson Ridenour officiating.  Friends and family will meet 11 AM Saturday, August 12, 2017 in Ausmus Cemetery for interment.
