Nina Jean Cole

Nina Jean Humphrey Cole, age 74 of Lafollette was called home to be with the Lord Monday, December 6, 2010, hand in hand with her husband, Robert Lee Cole of 58 years. She was a loving mother of 12 children, 22 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She enjoyed the genealogical research of her family tree, gardening and cooking. She loved our family gatherings, but Christmas time with her family was her favorite. She was employed for 23 years at Cumberland Village Health Care Facility.

Preceded in death by Parents: Elbert and Ellen Wilson Humphrey. Brothers: Arthur, Clyde and Boyd Elbert Humphrey. Sisters: Margaret Roseman and Betty Humphrey.

Survived by Sons: Jim, Robert, Daryl, Kenny, Jeff and Brian Cole. Daughters: Gail Nance, Sandra (Chig) Brady, Jackie Holbrook, Beverly Laws, Karen Hock and Becky Wilson. Brothers: Isaac, John, Tom and Clarence Humphrey. Sisters: Wanda Silcox and Shirley Daugherty.

Funeral service will be 8 PM Wednesday, December 8, 2010 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Johnny Dabney officiating. Interment will be 1 PM Thursday in Powell Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Wednesday night before funeral service.
