Olga Patricia Dacy

Olga Patricia (Nee Roessler) Dacy, age 76 of LaFollette, TN, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at her home peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on October 13, 1947, in Osterode, Germany, to the late Josef Roessler and Karolina Nee Heichel. Olga enjoyed spending time with her family and her dog Libbie. She also enjoyed doing arts, crafts, shopping, and retired from Meijer grocery.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Wenzel Roessler and sister and brother-in-law Mary Nemeth and Joe Nemeth.

Olga is survived by her daughters Christine Shafer and husband Phil of LaFollette and Carrie Manke and boyfriend Terry Guynes of Woodstock, IL; brother Frank Roessler and wife Sue of Illinois; sister Helen Termanas and husband Jim of Illinois; grandchildren Madisyn, Bryce, and Mykenzie Selof; the father of her children Bob Dacy of Harvard, IL; sister-in-law Pat Roessler; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

No services are planned at this time.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and nurses of UT Hospice for the compassion they showed during this time.
