Opal Lambdin

Opal Lambdin went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 27, 2016. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother that loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed working in her flower garden and making quilts, which she shared with family and friends. Mrs. Lambdin was a very faithful member of West LaFollette Baptist Church, a member of Glenors Sunday School class, and W.M.U.

She is preceded in death by her husband Dot Lambdin; son Gary Lambdin; daughter Patricia Beckenger; parents Claude and Ora Mae (Hamsey) Benge; brothers Edgar and Bill Benge; sisters Hazel Baca, Mildred Martin, Ruth Schooler, Margie Meredith, and Delphine Hornaker.

She is survived by son Jack (Donna) Lambdin of Michigan; Brother Bob (Louise) Benge of LaFollette; a host of friends and relatives, nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mrs. Lambdin will be 6-8 pm Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home of LaFollette and the service to follow at 8 pm with Brother Jerry Crutchfield and Rev. Hobert McCreary officiating; and music by Kay Spickard and Faye Bradshaw. Friends and family will meet at Martin Wilson Funeral Home Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 10:15 am for the 11:00 am interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.
