Patricia Sue (Tackett) Byrge

After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Patricia Sue Byrge age 66 went home to be with the Lord Tuesday February 28, 2017 at Parkwest Medical Center.

She enjoyed camping, singing in church with her family, and spending time with family and friends.  She was a member of Cherry Bottom Baptist Church of Caryville.

Sue is preceeded in death by her father Virgil Tackett.

She is survived by her mother Janice Tackett of Jacksboro; husband, Clyde Byrge of Jacksboro; children Darrell Byrge and wife Jana of Jellico, Tim Byrge and wife Tonya of Jacksboro.  She has 4 grandchildren whom she loved dearly; Cody, Tanner, Keilee, and Reid Byrge.  Sisters Diana Sweat and husband Robert of Caryville, and Gail Daugherty and Lowell of Jacksboro.  Several nieces and nephews and a host of friends and family.

Visitation will be Friday, March 3rd, 2017 at Cherry Bottom Baptist Church in Caryville from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral Service will follow at 8:00 PM with Rev. Rick Howard and Rev. Woody Jackson officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 AM on Saturday, March 4th at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in funeral procession to Powell Valley Cemetery for an 11:00 AM interment.
