Patsy Ruth (Parrott) King

Patsy Ruth (Parrott) King, age 84, of Oak Ridge passed away on Friday March 3, 2017 at her home.  She was a faithful member of Midway Baptist Church for many years, Mrs. King was a loving mother, who loved everyone especially her grandchildren.

Preceded in death by  parents Andrew Parrott and Nellie Carr Parrott,  first husband, Joe French Claiborne, second husband Earnest King,  sisters Evelyn P. Ellison and Viola P Bowman. .

Survived by children Kenneth Ray Claiborne and wife Debra of Sun City, AZ, Wayne Edward Claiborne of Society Hill SC,  grandchildren, Joseph F. Claiborne of Oak Ridge, Patricia Claiborne Coffey and husband Ronnie of Halls, Vicki Tucker of Society Hill, SC  and Travis Wiser of Newburg, Oregon  great grandchildren,  Mike Tucker, Jr and Kati Beddow, 1 great great grandchild,  sisters Beatrice Suttles of  Speedwell, Florene P. Brown and Margie P. Leach both of LaFollette,  several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.  Thank you to her special caretakers, Joseph  Claiborne, Patricia Coffey, Wilma  Frazee and Florene Brown.

Visitation will be 11:00-1:00 pm on Monday March 6, 2017 in the  chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home, service will follow at 1:00 with Rev. David Monday and Rev. Jack Goins officiating. Interment will follow service in Beeler cemetery.
