Paul Daugherty

Paul Daugherty, age 78, of Caryville passed away on Monday, December 30th, 2013 at his home. He was born August 10th, 1935 in Campbell County, TN. As a young man he received his salvation and was baptized by his father. He dearly loved caring for others and his pets.

He was preceded in death by his parents Rev. Dan & Mary Daugherty, sister Margaret Leslie, brother Sam Daugherty, and son-in-law James Gadd.

He is survived by his daughters Cheryl Gadd of Jacksboro, Rhonda Murray (Roy) of Andersonville, and Amanda Hughes of Duff; son Paul Junior Daugherty & wife of Caryville; granddaughters Christen Gadd, Ashley Murray, and Kayla Hughes; grandsons Steffan Murray and Nicholas Hughes; sisters Mary Magdalene Daugherty, Geneva (Eldon) Newport, and Nancy (Paul) Lynch all of Caryville; brothers James (Evadean) Daugherty of Caryville and John (Kathleen) Daugherty of Jacksboro; sister-in-law Margaret Daugherty of Jacksboro; several special nieces, nephews, and many other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 800 pm on Friday, January 3rd, 2014 in the Martin Wilson Chapel. Funeral service will follow the visitation with Rev. Tim Moore & Rev. Randy Lowe officiating along with eulogy delivered by Shaun Lynch. Interment with be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 4th, 2014 at Campbell Memorial Gardens with Chaplain James Dunn officiating.

Pallbearers will be David Ward, Thomas Byrge, Tim Newport, Danny Newport, Rusty Orick, & Charles Daugherty.
