Paul "Speck" Hubbard, age 79, of Jacksboro, formerly of Chesapeake City, MD passed away Saturday, April 20, 2013. He was a member of Stanfield Church of God. Mr. Hubbard retired from Chrysler Corporation in 1983. He was a well-known handyman; he loved golfing, hunting, fishing, Nascar and helping people. He loved spending time with his wife, Marybelle and his dog Gizmo.
Preceded in death by: Parents, Bob and Lassie Sharp Hubbard. Brothers: Charles Hubbard and Edward Hubbard.
Survived by Wife of 60 Years, Marybelle Hubbard of Jacksboro. Godchildren: Jennifer White of North East, MD and Tyler Pierce of LaFollette. Brothers: Robert Hubbard of Newark, DE and Earl Hubbard of Michigan. Brother in law: Edwin White. Nephew: Allan Hubbard. Longtime friends: Wayne Kitts, Greg Mattie and Keaton Jordan all of LaFollette. Several nieces and nephew, brothers and sisters in law.
Funeral service will be 8 PM Tuesday April 23, 2013 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Delmus Bruce officiating. Interment will be 11 AM Wednesday April 24, 2013 in Powell Valley Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM before the funeral on Tuesday.
