Pauline Ayers

Pauline Hood Ayers, age 91, of Jacksboro, a loving mother went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 7, 2015. She was a loving grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. Mrs. Ayers was a member of Mt. Paran Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband James N. Ayers, son Ray Ayers, parents Walter & Mae (Taylor) Hood, brother Charles F. Hood and sister Beatrice Hood.

She is survived by her sons James Ayers & wife Mary of LaFollette, John Ayers & wife Charlotte of LaFollette, Arnold Ayers & wife Ranita of Clinton and Danny Ayers & wife Lois of Jacksboro; daughters Sandra Johnson & husband Dallas and Brenda Albright all of Jacksboro; daughter-in-law Diane Ayers of Ohio; sister Ruby Moneymaker of Jacksboro; 15 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and several other family members and friends.

Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Friday, January 9, 2015 in the Martin Wilson Chapel with funeral service to follow with Rev. Ron Williams and Rev. Tony Ayers officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 10, 2015 in Mt. Paran Cemetery.
