Pauline Goodman Shown

Pauline Goodman Shown, age 88, of Jacksboro passed away February 18, 2016. She was of the Baptist faith. Pauline was a very loving wife of 72 years, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Hope Franklin Shown; parents Lawrence and Zora (Daugherty) Goodman; son Benny Shown; sisters Carrie Daugherty and Irene Goodman.

She is survived by her sons Ricky (Joyce) Shown of Hendersonville, Tn, and Mark A. (LeaAnn) Shown of Chattanooga, Tn; daughters Shirley Thompson of Maryville, TN, Deanna Shown of Powell, Tn and Patricia (Stanley) Rinehart of Jacksboro, Tn; brothers Paul (Dena) Goodman of Jacksboro, Tn, Harold (Mildred) Goodman of Vasper, Tn, and Archie (Susan) Goodman of Va; sister Violet (Bob) Terrell of Ky; 12 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 6-8 pm with the service to follow at 8:00 pm in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Russell officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:00 pm Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home for a 2:00 pm interment at Indian Creek Cemetery.
