Peggy Jean Bolton

Peggy Jean Bolton, age 76 of Caryville passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016. She was a member of the Habersham Baptist Church. Peggy was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother that enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by husband Hubert Bolton Jr.; parents Shelly and Minnie (Murray) Blankenship; brothers Wadi, Johnny, Marvin, and Melvin Blankenship.

She is survived by daughters Cathy (Marvin) Rutherford of LaFollette, Tammy Money (finance Bo Bolinger) of Jefferson City, Kathy (Roger) Bolton of Caryville, and Christy Hatmaker of Caryville; sister Cherry (Ronnie) Wilson of Jellico; grandchildren Amber Kipley, Colby Bowlin, Nikita Rutherford, and Zach Rutherford; great grandchildren Harley Williams, Easton Bowlin, Kolton Bowlin, Paxton Bowlin, Cayden, Logan, and Keagen Kipley.

Visitation will be 6-8 PM Friday, October 21, 2016 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home; funeral service will follow at 8 PM with Rev. Ron Bruce and Mike Bowlin officiating. Friends and family will meet 1:00 PM Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home for the 2:00 PM interment in Davis Cemetery.
