Rachel "Lula" Loueller (Bryant) Hunley

Rachel LouEller "Lula" Bryant Hunley, 94 of LaFollette passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at LaFollette Nursing Home after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend to many.  She was long-time member of Victory Baptist Church and loved the Lord and Savior with all her being.  Rachel was born and raised in Speedwell, TN during a time when life was hard, and money was scarce.  She carried those life lessons with her throughout her adulthood, helping others when they needed help.

She was preceded in death by her parents Oscar F. Bryant and Sarah Jane (Reed) Bryant; husband James Wright "Red" Hunley; siblings Lillie Mae Longmire, Eva McCulley, Maudie E. Smith, Edgar M. Bryant, and several half siblings; nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

She is survived by daughters Patricia Hunley Branam & Gary Comer, Linda M. Williford & husband Bill; grandchildren Lonnie Dewayne Branam, Jamie Denise Branam & Russell Stooksbury, James Williford & wife Mary, Angela Kay Williford Saylor & husband David; great grandchildren Issac Russell Stooksbury, Jay Lynn LouEller Stooksbury, Rachel Branham, Tyler Williford, Haley Williford, Samantha Williford, Rex Williford; many loving nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Visitation will be 3-5 PM Saturday, January 20, 2018 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home followed by funeral service at 5 PM with Rev. Howard Goins and David Goins officiating.  Friends and family will meet 1:15 PM Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home for the 2 PM interment in Victory cemetery.
