Ralph L Jeffers

Ralph L. Jeffers age 78 of LaFollette, TN passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2011. He was born on December 9, 1932. He was a Korean Veteran, teacher, and was retired from Oak Ridge National Laboratory where he served as a Health Physicist Supervisor for 29 years. He was Past Master of Stooksbury Masonic Lodge #602. He attended church at Cumberland Hope Community Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents John R. and Lyda Jeffers and his father and mother-in-law Clarence and Cecil Rector.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years Joan Rector Jeffers, son and daughter-in-law Scott and Carla Jeffers, grandson and granddaughter-in-law Joshua and Dana Jeffers, brother and sister-in-law Kermit and Wilma Jean Jeffers, brother-in-law and wife Bill and Vicki Rector, nephews, nieces, family and friends, as well as his friends at Cumberland Village where he has been living.

Masonic service will be at 7:45 p.m. followed by Funeral service on Thursday, July 7, 2011 in the Martin-Wilson chapel with Rev Billy Smith officiating. Interment will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 8, 2011 at Woodlawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. prior to the service. Donations may be made to Cumberland Hope Community Church parking lot fund.
