Raymond Carson Edwards

Raymond Carson Edwards, age 82, of LaFollette went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday June 27, 2025.  He was an Independent Baptist and attended various Bible Believing Churches.  Due to his generosity of giving Bibles freely, he was known as the Bible man and was an avid Scholar of the King James version.

Preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Mary Jane Maddox Edwards, brother, Sam Edwards, sister, Beverly Ann McDonald.

Survived by brothers, Gary Edwards of Dayton, Ohio, Farrell Edwards and wife Vickie, Mike Edwards of Speedwell; sisters, Patricia Dempsey of LaFollette, Joy Lynn Davis and husband Joe of LaFollette, Karen Akins and husband Ray of Knoxville, and a multitude of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Tuesday July 1, 2025, from 5 PM to 7 PM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Celebration of Life service to follow at 7:00 with Rev. Kenny Allen officiating.
