Renda Rutherford

Renda Rutherford, age 63 of Jacksboro, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Tennova North Medical Center. She was born on June 26, 1958. Renda loved God and going to church, worshipping her Lord and Savior everywhere and anywhere, and attending Guiding Star Baptist Church. She was also a prayer warrior that loved taking care of her grandbabies, as she would call them her little people.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 41 years Bill Rutherford Sr.; father J.B. Nolan; brothers John Nolan and J.B. Nolan Jr.; and her sister Marie Nolan.

She is survived by her mother Ella (Taylor) Nolan; son Rev. Bill Rutherford Jr. and wife Ashley of LaFollette; daughters Dawn Mynatt and Gary Harness of LaFollette, B.J. Tolliver and Stephen Carroll of Jacksboro, and Wendy Garrison of Caryville; brothers Ringo Nolan and wife Emma of Jacksboro; sisters Cindy White of LaFollette and Tina Gregg and husband Jim of Florida; grandchildren Jamie Mynatt and Fiancé Taylor Tielman, Raelyn Mynatt and Fiancé Steven Holstein, Jordan Tolliver, Bryson Garrison, Destiny, Brooklyn, Harper, and Everleigh Rutherford; great grandchildren Emma and Elijah Holstein and 1 on the way; and several nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives.

A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM on Friday, June 3, 2022 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Mark Gillum and Rev. Jimmy Rutherford officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 AM on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in funeral procession to Campbell Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 AM interment.
