Rev. Eldon Charles "Duggan" Hutson age 76 of Jacksboro passed away Monday, March 2, 2009 at the St. Mary's Medical Center in Campbell Co.
He was a member of Ford Town Baptist Church. Mr. Hutson was ordained as a minister of the gospel in December 1954 in Cincinnatti, Oh. He has pastored Habersham Baptist Church and Faith Baptist Church in High Point, TN. and been an evangelist for many and has worked with several ministers in the jail ministry in Campbell and Anderson county jails. He was a very devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and was a friend to all who knew him.

Preceded in death by Wife: Kathleen Huston. Brother: Vestal "Buck" Hutson. Bill Hutson, and Estel 'Bobby" Hutson. Sister: L Rose Hutson.

Survived by Sons: Ricky Hutson of Middlesboro, KY. Henry Hutson of Jacksboro. Daughters; Kathy Carroll of LaFollette and Henrietta Owens of Jacksboro. Grandchildren: Melissa tackett, Tina Hutson, Christie Morris, and David Gibson. 3 Great Grandchildren. Brothers: Ray Hutson of Caryville. Don Hutson of LaFollette. Raymond Hutson of Knoxville. Sister: Donna White of Knoxville.

Funeral service will be 8 PM Wednesday, March 4 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Don Allen and Rev. Chad Hutson officiating. Interment will be in Queener Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Wednesday before funeral service.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Martin Wilson Funeral Home in Rev. Eldon Hutson's name.
