Richard Lonnie Edmonds

Richard Lonnie Edmonds, age 70, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. He was born on October 16, 1955, to the late Homer and Beulah Mathis Edmonds. Lonnie enjoyed watching westerns and old TV shows, playing cards, shooting pool, watching hockey and football, fishing, and collecting swords.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Edmonds; sons, Lonnie Ray Edmonds, and Dustin Edmonds; infant daughter, Patricia Edmonds; brothers, Jerry Edmonds; and sister, Carol Spishock.

Lonnie is survived by his grandchildren, Sarah Vinsant, Brittany Adkins and Dylan Johnson; great grandchildren, Dusty Meadows, Ava Adkins, and Abram Adkins; brother, Kenneth Edmonds and wife Debbie; sisters, Hazel Thompson and husband Thomas, Cecil Pauley, and Nancy Hubbard; special nieces, Shelly Shattuck and Beverly Russell and husband Seth; several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 10 AM to 11 AM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 11 AM with Rev. Jerry Foust officiating. Interment to follow at the Melvin Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
