Richard Allen Jones

Richard Allen Jones, age 65 of Caryville, departed this life on Monday, April 22, 2024, at his home. He was born on March 30, 1959, to the late Dorsal Jones and Janet (Wilson) Jones. Richard was a loving husband of 33 years, father, and grandfather "Papaw" that enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed going to the lake, watching his dog Lilly, and walking around with his wife Joyce.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his granddaughter Graice Owens.

Richard is survived by his loving wife Joyce Jones of Caryville; son Cody "Lauren" Jones of Caryville; daughter Kahla Jones and fiancé Timmy Gibson of LaFollette; brother Greg "Teresa" Jones of Ohio; grandchildren Bryson Arnett, Seraphine Meredith-Jones, and Jacob Jones; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, May 4th, 2024 at Indian Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Orick officiating.

The family has entrusted the care of Richard Allen Jones to Martin Wilson Funeral Home "Where Families Matter Most."
