Ricky Nelson Marlow Sr.

Ricky Nelson Marlow Sr., age 60 of LaFollette, passed away on Friday, February 11th, 2022 at his residence. He was born March 28, 1961 in Jellico to the late Thomas and Mabel (Murray) Marlow. Ricky enjoyed fishing, ginseng, four-wheeling, and being outdoors. He loved playing the guitar, hunting arrowheads and making them as well. Ricky's biggest thing was spending time with his family especially his grandchildren, who he loved dearly.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by, brothers, Donald and Lawrence Marlow; sisters, Judy Beal, Sherry Givens, Terri Marlow, and Catherine Marlow.

Ricky is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Melissa (Fannin) Marlow of LaFollette; son, Ricky Marlow II and wife, Tiffany of LaFollette; daughter, Samantha Marlow and Justin of Knoxville; grandchildren, Natalie, Kayleigh, Maycie, Sadie, Alyssa, Madison, Lynzie, and McKynzie; brothers, Tommy and Michael Marlow both of LaFollette; sisters, Linda Carroll, Denise Palmer, and Shirley Phillips all of LaFollette; several nieces, nephews, and host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Ricky will be on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM with his funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM with Rev. Bill Wilson officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service at Powell Valley Cemetery.
