Robbie S. Howard

Robbie Sue Howard, age 93, of LaFollette went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 20, 2011 at St. Mary's of Campbell County after a long illness. She was born in Jacksboro, TN on April 10, 1918 and was of the Baptist faith and a member of Vasper Baptist Church. She was the oldest and last survivor of seven siblings. Mrs. Howard loved cooking, canning, gardening, flowers and vegetables and her family was her life.

Preceded in death by husband: John Howard. Stepson: Virgil Howard. Parents: Charlie S. and Maggie L. Rains Queener. Brothers: Charles, David, Harvey and Gifford. Sisters: Bea Meredith and Gertie Chastain.

Survivor son: William M. Queener and wife Ann of LaFollette. Stepson: Billy Howard and Wife Marilyn of Myrtle Beach, SC. Two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 8 PM on Monday August 22, 2011 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Danny King and Bro. William C. Queener officiating. Interment will be 11 AM Tuesday August 23, 2011 in Powell Valley Cemetery and Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM on Monday before funeral service.
