Robert (Bob) J. Kane

Robert (Bob) J. Kane, age 69 of Jacksboro, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at his home. Bob was born on January 10, 1954. Bob was a Boy Scout leader and a Past Master of the Lyons 93 of Clinton, Iowa. He also enjoyed bowling, camping, harassing people, spending time with his grandkids, great grandkid, dogs, and his family who he loved very much.

He is preceded in death by his father George Robert Kane.

Bob is survived by his mother Georgia Kane of Clinton, Iowa; his loving wife Claudia Kane of Jacksboro; sons Ryan Kane and wife Mandy of Jacksboro and Jason Kane of San Francisco, California; brother Mike Kane of Clinton, Iowa; sisters Diane Huling of Camanche, Iowa and Patty Schluns of Moline, Illinois; 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 PM on Saturday, March 11, 2023 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Military honors to follow by the Campbell County Honor Guard.  A celebration of Life Service will follow the military honors with Rev. Tom Reece officiating.
