Robert "Bob" Loveday

Robert "Bob" Loveday, age 91 passed away on Thursday October 17, 2024. He was born on March 3, 1933 to the late Roscoe and Rachel Maples Loveday.

He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather that enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved spending time on Norris Lake fishing, and wood carving. He was proud to serve his country as a Marine in the Korean Conflict for 14 months.

In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his daughter, Patti L. Baughman; brothers, Earl Loveday, Lawerence Loveday, and Ancil Loveday; sisters, Patricia Simms, Juanita Davis, Ruby Loveday, and Penny Loveday; and granddaughter, Stephanie Kuehnel.

Bob is survived by sons, Eddie Wayne Loveday and wife Cathy of Clairfield, Timothy R. Loveday of LaFollette, Robert A. Loveday of LaFollette, Randall M. Loveday of Michigan, and Stephen Loveday of LaFollette; son-in-law, Roger Baughman; grandchildren, Jennifer, Matthew, Amanda, Shana, Tasha, Andrew, Tyler, Candace, and Alex; 14 great grandchildren and host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday October 20, 2024 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home from 5 PM to 7 PM. An additional visitation will be held on Monday October 21, 2024 at the funeral home from 1 PM to 2 PM with the funeral service to follow at 2PM with Rev. Steve Longsworth officiating. Interment to follow at Powell Valley Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
