Robert Lee Martin

Robert Lee "Bobby" Martin, age 64 of Jacksboro went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, October 19, 2010. He was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. He was a very loving and caring father, husband, grandfather and friend. He had a very open and giving heart to everyone he met. He began a wrestling career in 1969 as wrestler Bobby Steele and retired in 2003.

Preceded in death by Parents: Leslie and Frances Martin. Brother: Jack Morris. Sisters: Loretta and Joan.

Survived by Wife: Brenda Martin of Jacksboro. Sons and Daughters in Law: Les and Amy Martin of Jacksboro, Michael "Smokey" Martin of Lafollette. Marty and Jeanie Petty of Rogersville, TN and Chuck Martin of Jacksboro. Daughters and Sons in Law: Connie and Chris Berry of Knoxville, Loretta and Carl Tielman of Lafollette. Grandchildren: Justin, Corbin, Sara, Christopher, Jared, Gavin, Salina, Rochelle, Corey, Devon, Joshua, Jennie, Kelly, Isaac, Samuel, Taylor, Shane, Zachary and Trevor. Great Grandchildren: Gabriel and Laiken.

Funeral Service will be 8 PM Friday, October 22, 2010 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Tommy Reece and Rev. Jimmy Griffith officiating. Interment will be 11 AM Saturday in Campbell Memorial Gardens with the Campbell County Honor Guard in charge of graveside service. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 PM Friday night before funeral service.
