Robin Sue Adkins

Robin Sue Adkins, age 69, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday September 10, 2025.  She was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Robin loved spending time with her family and grandkids, drinking coffee, and watching the cardinals outdoors. She loved listening to the radio and loved to sing.  Her family was her entire world.

Robin is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Ray Henegar and Octavia Henegar; brothers David and Bill Henegar.

She is survived by her husband, Roger Adkins of Jacksboro; son, Darrell Partin and wife Chanda of Cookeville, TN; daughters, Jenny Davis of Minot, ND, Teresa Jones and husband Chris of Smithville, TN, Belinda Holloway of Jacksonville, NC, Jamie Bolton and husband Michael of LaFollette; and Jessica Halcomb of Jacksboro; brothers, Kenneth Henegar and wife Shirley of Kentucky, Ricky Henegar of New Tazewell, Lawrence Henegar and wife Denise of Clinton, Jimmy Henegar and wife Millie of LaFollette, Eddie Henegar and wife Debbie of Indiana; sister Reba Taylor and husband Arvil of LaFollette; 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday September 14, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Lawrence Henegar officiating. Interment will follow at Powell Valley Cemetery.
