Roger Bennett Currier

Roger Bennett Currier age 61 of Caryville passed away Sunday May 31, 2009 at his sons home in LaFollette.  He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help church.  Mr. Currier was a member of the American Legion Post #58 of LaFollette, Veteran of Foreign Wars of Lake City and Eagles of LaFollette.  He served in Vietnam with the US Army.

Preceded in death by son: Russell Bennett Currier.  Parents: Steven Russell and Muriel Vida Strong Currier.

Survived by: Former wife: Ruth Currier of LaFollette. Sons:  Russell James Currier and Ryan Daniel Currier of LaFollette.  Stepson: Robert Clyde Smith of Davison, MI.  Daughter: Raenelle Morton of LaFollette.  Stepdaughters: Rebecca Muse and Roxanne Miller both of LaFollette. Brothers James R. Currier of Brown City, MI and Stephen R. Currier of Troy MI.  Sisters:  Carole Ann Ballard of Paduka, KY and Marlyn Elaine Clees of Goodrich, MI.  2 Grandchildren: Terrance Morton and Elija Currier.  16 Step grandchildren.  Rogers was expecting 2 more grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 8 PM Monday June 1, 2009 in Martin Wilson Chapel. The Family will receive friends from 6 til 8 PM before service.  Mr. Currier will be taken to Muir Funeral Home in Almont, MI for funeral service and interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.  Time will be announced by Muir Funeral Home.
