Rose Marie Ellison

Rose Marie Ellison, age 70 of Speedwell, departed this life on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at her home. She was born on March 6, 1955, to the late Mary Helen Malicoat. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed painting and spending time with her grandkids.

In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her son Carl Wayne Ellison; brother Ralph Hamblin and Charles Ray Hamblin; and her sister Lynn Brooks.

Rose is survived by her son Brock Ellison and Amanda of Speedwell; sisters Dee Wiggin of LaFollette and Olcie Jean Marlow of Jellico; grandchildren Oakley Ellison, Phoenix Ellison, Olivia Ellison, and Alden Ellison; and several nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives.

Visitation will be from 6:00-7:00 PM on Thursday, January 15, 2026, in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow with Bro. Daniel Ellsion officiating.
