Rose Marie Lawson, age 81 of Caryville passed away Friday, January 9, 2009 at the U.T. Medical Center of Knoxville. Mrs. Lawson was a member of Beech Fork Baptist Church. She was a loving servant who loved the Lord, family and community. She was a deacon's wife who carried the load. She was an excellent mother who was the matriarch of the family and cooked for everyone and enjoyed her flowers.
Preceded in death by her loving Husband: Ruby H. Lawson. Parents: Maynard Woods SR and Verdie Ward Woods. Son in Law: Richard L. Dieckman. Brother in Law: Fred Farmer. Baby Sister: Mary Ellen Woods. Her in laws: William Jessie Lawson and Lydial Lawson.
Survived by Son and Daughter in Law: Roger L. and Charlene Lawson of Caryville. Daughter: Katie S. Dieckman of Centerville, Ohio. Grandchildren: Michael DWayne and Christy Conner of Caryville, Shonda and Chris Goodman of Caryville, Heather S. Mason of Lafollette, Scott and Andrea Dieckman of Jacksonville, FL, Beth and Kirk Keller of Centerville, Ohio, Missy and Jim Sousa and David Dieckman of Kettering, Ohio. Great Grandchildren: Ashlee Sousa, Brandon Morton, Patrick Dieckman, Brachel Goodman, Eric Dieckman, Kurtis Dieckman, Cody Goodman, Makala Goodman, Sierra Mason, Stephanie Mason, Gabriel Mason, Caitlynne Conner and Brayton Sousa. Brother and Sister in Law: Maynard and Birtha Woods JR of Stony Fork. Sister: Arvena Farmer of Lafollette. Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be 8 PM Sunday, January 11, 2009 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Rutherford and Brother Kirk Keller officiating. Interment will be 12 PM Monday in Beech Fork Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Sunday night before funeral service.
