Rosie Mae Watkins

Rosie Mae Watkins, age 93, of LaFollette passed away on Saturday September 17, 2011 at St Mary's Health and Rehab of Campbell County. She was a member of Habersham Baptist Church. Mrs Watkins enjoyed cooking, puzzle books, reading her bible, listening to gospel music, being around her grandchildren and she loved her family very much.

Preceded in death by husband; Dewey Watkins. Parents: Edward and Susan Malicoat Archer. Sons: Leon Burns, Dewey Lee Watkins Jr. and Wayne Dan Watkins. Daughters: Lillian Walden, Jane Dishon, Lucille Siler. Sister: Ruby Rutherford. Brothers: Jim Archer, Earl Archer, Vestel Hatmaker and Bill Hatmaker.

Survived by Sons: Henry Watkins of LaFollette and Jerry Watkins and wife Janet of Speedwell. Daughters: Alta Gross and Betty Sue Heinrich and husband Joe of Hamilton, Ohio. Nancy Brandenburg and Edith Gillenwater of LaFollette and Rhonda Anne Campbell and husband Clevis of Strinking Creek. 25 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. A host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside service and interment will be 1:00 PM Thursday September 22, 2011 in Oak Grove cemetery with Rev. Charles Goins officiating.
