Roy Smith

Roy Smith age 72 of LaFollette, departed this life on November 1, 2022 at University of Tennessee Medical Center. He was born on February 10, 1950 to the late Charlie and Mae (Butler) Smith.  Charles was a loving husband of 23 years, father, and brother that enjoyed spending time with his family. He also enjoyed fishing, farming, and anything to do with the outdoors.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers Ray Smith and Bill Smith and his sisters Georgia Smith and Wilma Smith.

He is survived by his loving wife Charlice Elliott Smith of Speedwell; son Ray Allen Smith of Speedwell; daughter Lisa Smith of Speedwell; brother Jack Smith of Speedwell; sisters Annie Smith of Speedwell and Charolette Ayers of LaFollette; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be on Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Following the visitation family and friends will go in funeral procession to Greene Cemetery for a 1:00 PM graveside service
