Ruby Christopher

Ruby Christopher, age 90, of LaFollette passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2012. She was a member of the LaFollette Church of God. She was a very loving mother, grand, great, & great-great grandmother that enjoyed spending time with her family and doing volunteer work helping others.

Preceded in death by her parents Charles & Fannie (Lawson) Collett, husband Clyde Christopher, son Dallas Christopher, 4 sisters, and great-grandson Jeffrey Beck.

Survived by her son James Christopher & wife Millie of LaFollette, daughter Retha Brown & husband Joe of Cincinnati, OH, brothers Herb Collett of Nashville and Jack Collett & wife Carolyn of Youngstown, OH, sister Juanita Nelson of Pineville, KY, grandchildren Deborah Beck & husband Christopher of Cincinnati, OH and Gordon Stewart of Somerset, KY, great-granddaughter Tina Chambers & husband Christopher, and great-great grandchildren Mark and Ryan Chambers.

Funeral service will be at 8:00 pm on Friday, August 17th, 2012 in the Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev Hobert McCreary officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 6-8 pm. Interment will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 18th, 2012 in the Pineville Kentucky Cemetery.
