Ruth Hazel Carroll

Ruth Hazel Carroll, age 96, of LaFollette went to heaven Thursday, October 31, 2013. Ruth was born in Caryville on March 2, 1917. She was a 50 year member of West LaFollette Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents John & Minnie (Reynolds) Hill; husband John Carroll, Jr.; brothers Lawerence, Fletcher, Elmer, John, Luther, RB, & JD Hill; sisters Lillie Phillips, Ethel Prather, & Ruby Vincent.

She is survived by her son Gary Carroll & wife Teresa of Jacksboro, granddaughters Ashley Carroll and Brooke McKamey, and 2 great-grandsons Levi Young and Lindon McKamey.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 3rd, 2013 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm at Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Graveside service and interment will follow the visitation at Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. Sampson Ridenour officiating. Special thanks to Tennova Healthcare, all the employees on the 2nd Floor West Side, and to Dr. Narula.
