Ruth Mclin

Ruth McLin, 81, of Medaryville, IN passed away at her home on Friday, October 4, 2013. She was born October 13, 1931 in Caryville, TN to the late Clyde & Arlettia White Davis. On September 15, 1951, she married Earl Levi McLin. He preceded her in death on April 22, 1973. Ruth lived many years in Illinois, where she owned and operated her own beauty shop from her home, and later worked for over 20 years as a housekeeper for Olympia Fields Osteopathic Hospital. Upon her retirement, she moved to Medarvyille. Ruth was an active member of the Medaryville Assemby of God Church. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and participating in activities at the Medaryville Senior Center. Ruth enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and traveling. Ruth loved her family very much and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Burial will take place at Campbell Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Jacksboro, TN on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 following visitation from 10 AM - 12 Noon at Martin Wilson Funeral Home, LaFollette, TN. Memorial Contributions may be given to Medaryville Assembly of God Church or Medaryville Senior Center.
