Ruth Naomi Vann

Ruth Naomi Vann age 94 of Caryville went home to be the Lord, Monday, August 16, 2010 at Cumberland Village. She was a member of Bear Wallow Baptist Church. Ruth enjoyed going to church and reading her bible. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed working in her garden and quilting for her family.

Preceded in death by Husband: Alvis Vann. Parents: Perry and Mattie Lawson. Daughter in Law: Brenda Vann. 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Survived by Son: Paul Vann of Jacksboro. Daughters and Sons in Law: Bernadine and Jim Johnson of Lafollette. Nadine and James Watson of Norma. Juanita and David Ausmus of Lafollette. 11 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Great Great Grandchildren. 1 Brother and 1 Sister. Many Nephews, Nieces, Friends, and Caretakers of Cumberland Village Nursing Home.

Funeral service will be 8 PM Tuesday, August 17 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Grandson: Jeff Watson officiating. Interment will be 10 AM Wednesday in Harness Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Tuesday night before funeral service.
