Sadie Marie "Whitehead" Goins

Sadie Marie "Whitehead" Goins, age 53 of Speedwell, passed away on April 30, 2022 at her home. She was born on August 15, 1968. Sadie enjoyed cooking, spending time outside, and taking care of her dog "Snoopy".

She is preceded in death by her grandparents Reece and Sadie Hubbard and Lloyd and Naomi Whitehead; stepdad Bruce Eastman; uncles Big Mac Hubbard, Big Chester, Little Chester, Big Doyle, Eldgin, Dexter, Oscar, and John; aunts Audrey Sprinkle, Nancy Hubbard, and Lottie Dixon; father and mother in-law Carnus and Betty Parker.

She is survived by her loving husband of 22 years Lonnie Goins; son Dale Harrison Haywood; mother Shirley Brock; father and stepmother Edd Whitehead and Pat Whitehead; sisters, Rita Cornett; Lena and husband Fred Pace, Martha Kaylor; brother, Lloyd Whitehead Jr.; Uncles Doyle Jr, Hubbard and wife Peggy, Ted Whitehead and Manuel Whitehead; special aunt Lorrie Eastman; aunts Mary Alice Green and Carl Whitehead; sister-in-law Sherry Parker and Wayne; nephews Zach Towe and David Towe; special nieces and nephews Rebecca Cornett, Leeann Danials, Haleigh Southern, Andrew Southern, Eldgin Kaylor and Olivia Seal, John Sippel, Abby Sippel, Tina Kaylor, Christian Stanley, Micha Stanley, Mylee Stanley; great nephews Jackson and Eliyah Kaylor; and special friends Mike and Robbie Stanley; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on May 9, 2022 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM with Rev. David Mundy and Rev. Bo Freeman officiating. Interment will follow funeral service at Victory Baptist Cemetery.
