Sally Jean Wells

Sally Jean Wells, age 65, of Jacksboro passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2012. She was a member of Solid Rock Church of God but she first accepted the Lord early in her life at age 12 at Willow Grove Baptist Church and was baptized on Easter Sunday. She loved the Lord & church with all of her heart. She also loved her family & grandkids very much and always put others before herself. She enjoyed baking, cooking, and getting her hair done.

She was preceded in death by her parents Alvin & Rose Marie (Wilson) Sanders.

She is survived by her husband Jimmy Wells of Jacksboro, daughter Anita Porter and husband Kevin of Caryville, son James Wells of LaFollette, brother Alvin Sanders, Jr. of Jacksboro, sister Barbara Sue Jones of Jacksboro, and grandchildren Ryan Smith, Elizabeth Porter, & John Porter.

Funeral service will be at 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 18, 2012 in the Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev A C Jones and Rev James Leach officiating. Family will receive friends prior to the service from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 in the Jacksboro Cemetery.
