Sherry Claudette Chavis

Sherry Claudette Chavis, age 64 passed away on January 29, 2023. Sherry was a member of Chaska Church of God. She loved yard sales, she loved everyone she met, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Sherry is preceded in death by her father, Hubert Huckaby.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Bobby Chavis of Jacksboro; mother, Velma Huckaby of Jacksboro; son, Jeremiah Chavis, and wife Alana of Jacksboro; daughter, Tabitha Stevens and husband Harold of Jacksboro; brothers, Tim Huckaby and wife Tereasa of Jellico, Ricky Huckaby and wife Elaine of LaFollette; grandchildren, Destiny, Matthew, Cassidy, Jaden, and Nathan; great-grandchild, Raylen; and other family members and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 pm on Thursday February 2, 2023 in chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral service to follow at 7 PM. Family and friends will meet at Martin Wilson Funeral Home at 10:30 am on Friday February 3, 2023 and go to Jacksboro Cemetery for an 11:00 AM interment.
