Shirley Ruth Queener

Shirley Ruth Queener, age 76, of Jacksboro passed away on Friday January 27, 2023.  Shirley enjoyed reading, cooking, and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Shelby and Mildred Perry, brothers, Robert, Ronald and Harold Perry, sisters, Dorothy Asher and Carol Grigsby, granddaughter Carly Queener.

Survived by husband of 53 years Carl Queener of Jacksboro, daughter, Julie (Charles) Ayers of Jacksboro, son Scott (Tiffany) Queener of Joelton, Tn, 4 grandchildren, Chris, (Alex) Queener. Jon Queener, Emily Ayers and Austin Ayers, and several nieces and nephews as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 pm on Monday January 30, 2023 in chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at Martin Wilson Funeral Home at 10:15 am on Tuesday January 31, 2023 and go to Woodlawn cemetery for a 11:00 am graveside service and interment with Rev Jacob Hayes officiating.
