Shirley Walden

Shirley Walden, age 76, of LaFollette passed away Thursday, September 5th, 2013. She was of the Church of God faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents Frank & Pernie (Bolton) Brandenburg; husband Tilman Walden; brothers Chester, Clayton, Bufford, Gayle, and Curtis Brandenburg; sister Bessie Baird and infant sister Dessie Brandenburg; and grandchildren Larry Roberts, Jr. and Joel Roberts.

She is survived by her son James Luther Walden of LaFollette; daughters Carolyn Ayers & husband David of Pioneer, Pauline Roberts & husband Larry of Pioneer, Kimberly Johnston & husband Jeramy of LaFollette, and Necoal Walden of LaFollette; brother Carl Lane & wife Renda of Kentucky; sister Ethel Kitts of Ohio; grandchildren Angela Sparks, Michelle Fritz, Veronica Bolton, Charlie Paige Johnson, Ronnie Walden, Tiarra Slover, and Ashley Slover; and great-grandchildren Kelly Jo Bolton, Carson Lee Bolton, Shelly Lynn Bolton, Brooke Sparks, Abby Sparks, Olivia Sparks, Hailey Walden, and McCoy Johnson.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 8th, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 8:00 pm with Rev. Jerry Yancy officiating. Interment will be held on Monday, September 9th, 2013 at 11:00 am at Walden Place Cemetery.
