Smiley Burnett Goins

Smiley Goins age 80 of Jacksboro passed away Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the St. Mary's Medical Center in Campbell Co. He was a very loving father, grandfather, and brother who enjoyed sharing his life's experiences with anyone he came in contact with.

Preceded in death by Son: Larry Alton Goins. Parents: Hubert and Maggie Rutherford Goins. Brothers: Roy and Von Goins. Infant Sister: Ima Jean Goins.

Survived by Sons: Garry Raven and Kenny Rex Goins. Daughters and Husbands: Kathy and Clarence Wallace, Debbie and Clarence Pierce all of LaFollette, and Sandy and Jeff Davis of Apache Jct., Arizona. 15 Grandchildren and Several Great Grandchildren. Brothers and Wives: JT and Linda Goins of GA., Wade " Bud" and Pat Goins of Oliver Springs. Sisters: Nina Hatfield of LaFollette, Pearl Lynch of LaFollette, Fleda Arywy of NY, and Betty and Husband: Cornis Parker. And a host of friends and relatives.

Funeral service will be 7 PM Tuesday, March 10 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Hobert McCreary officiating. Interment will be 11 AM Wednesday at Woodalwn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 PM Tuesday night before funeral service.
