Stella Ball

Stella Ball, age 94, of LaFollette went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 21, 2016. She was of the Baptist faith. Stella was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother that enjoyed spending time with her family. She touched the lives of all those she came in contact with. Her entire life was a testimony to the Lord.

She is preceded in death by her husband's Strauther Adkins and Sid Ball; son David Adkins; daughters Carol Lawhon of West Virginia and Sue Childers of Ohio.

She is survived by sons Robert (Janice) Adkins of Jacksboro, Jesse (Sheila) Adkins of Milton, WV, Roger (Robin) Adkins of LaFollette, and Joseph (Dora) Adkins of Rocky Top; brother Thomas Burchett of Indiana; a host of family and friends.


Visitation for Stella will be from 6-8 pm Wednesday, March 23, 2016 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 pm with Rev. Bobby Ray Wilson officiating. Friends and family will meet at Martin Wilson Funeral Home at 10:15 am Thursday, March 24, 2016 for the procession to Campbell Memorial Gardens for the 11:00 am interment.
