Stephen Francis Owens

Stephen Francis Owens age 75 of Jacksboro went home to be with the Lord on Friday March 24, 2023. He was of the Church of God Faith. Stephen was a loving husband of 52 years, loving father, very caring grandfather and brother that enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren, he loved working outside, mowing the yard and working on the family farm driving his John Deere tractor and was a proud veteran who served his country for 4 years in the Navy.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Seborn and and Odea Stevens Owens, brothers Esco, Harley, Lindon "Doc" and Don, sisters Geraldine and Joeldean.

He is survived by wife Jean Owens, sons Scott Owens of Knoxville, Michael Owens and wife Alicia of Jacksboro, daughter Rebekah Ivey and husband Paul of Jacksboro, sister Sharon "Kay" Miller and husband J. C., grandchildren Harley, Jordan, Morae, Jonathan, Anna, Luke, Leighton, Milly and Haylee, 1 great grandchild, several family members and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 pm on Monday March 27, 2023 in chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home, funeral service will follow at 7:00 with Rev. James Adkins and Bro. Gene Stevens officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 am on Tuesday March 28, 2023 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home and go to Owens Family Cemetery for 11:00 AM interment with military honors by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
