Steven Thornton

Steven "Thor" Thornton age 28 of Knoxville passed away suddenly Friday, March 6, 2009. He was born March 18, 1980. He was a 1998 graduate of Campbell County High School and was attending classes at Roane State College. Steven was employed by Chili's on Clinton Highway. He was a loving son, protective brother, devoted grandson and friend to many. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Survived by Parents: Larry and Donna McGhee Thornton. Sister: Christy Thornton. Grandparents: Don and Arline McGhee, Wanda McNeil and Lawrence Thornton. Aunt: Brenda McGhee and Kay McGhee Rippy. Uncles and Wives: Darrell and Janet Thornton and Greg and Shannon Thornton. Special little cousins: Taylor, Tanner and Meredith.

Funeral Service will be 8 PM Monday, March 9, 2009 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Jim Heatherly and Rev. Derrick Edwards officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 PM Monday night before funeral service.
