Susie Ward

Susie Brown Mullins Ward, a longtime member of Indian Bluff Baptist Church passed away at home on Wednesday, October 28, 2015. She loved quilting, working in her garden, going to church when she was able, and spending time with her family & friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Raphie Mullins and Rev Ernest Ward; son Joe Mullins; parents Foster Brown and Nancy Sharp Brown; brothers Charles Brown and James Brown; sister Mae Cooper

She was survived by daughter Wanda and husband Vance Lawson of LaFollette; step son Alvin and wife Rissa Ward of Jacksboro; step daughters, Shirley and husband Richard Goins of Oak Ridge; Joyce and husband Wayne Longmire of Jacksboro; brother Isham and wife Donna Brown of Jacksboro; sisters Josie Lawson of Demory and Edna Cooper Clotfelter of Lenoir City; grandchildren Charity Mullins of Clinton and Arland Lawson of Knoxville; great grandchildren Kyleigh Mullins of Clinton, and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 pm Friday, October 30, 2015 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 8pm with Rev. Jimmy Ault officiating. Interment will be 11:00 am Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Oak Grove Cemetery.
