Sylvia Rutherford

Sylvia Rutherford, age 97, of Springfield, Ohio formerly of LaFollette when home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 5, 2015. She was of the Pentecostal faith, Mrs. Rutherford was a loving mother and the last of 8 children of the late Kip and Tempy Chapman.

Preceded in death by husband Bart Rutherford, son Jerry Rutherford, grandson Ron Bowman, parents Kip and Tempy Dupuy Chapman, son in law Eddie Bowman.

Survived by son George Rutherford and wife Jo of Andersonville, Tn, daughters Peggy Bowman of New Carlisle, Ohio, Wanda Hunley and husband Carl of Huber Heights, Ohio, daughter in law Joyce Rutherford of Greeneville, Tn, 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Funeral service to follow at 8:00 with Rev. Chad Alderson officiating. Interment will be 11:00 am Wednesday December 9, 2015 in Bakers Forge Cemetery.
