Thomas "Red" Norris Jr.

Thomas Allen "Red" Norris Jr., age 83 of LaFollette, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. He was born May 12, 1938 in Jamestown, Tennessee to the late Thomas Sr. and Fannie (Beaty) Norris. Red was a member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed working on motors, traveling, fishing, and spending time with his grandbabies.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandson, Caleb Dalton Norris; brothers, Herman Norris and Tillman Owens; sister, Ona Mae Gaines.

Red is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Martha Norris of LaFollette; sons, Jim Norris of LaFollette, Rick Norris and wife, Barbara of Harrogate; daughters, Lisa Heatherly and husband, Jerry of LaFollette, Rhonda Norris of LaFollette, Becky (Norris) Allred of Jacksboro; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren; and host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 19th, 2021 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Family and friends will meet on Monday, December 20th, 2021 at the funeral home at 10:15 AM to go in funeral procession to Bakers Forge Cemetery for a 11:00 AM graveside service with Rev. Johnny Vanover officiating.
