Tommy Joe Perkey

Tommy Perkey, age 68, of Caryville passed away on Friday, October 16, 2015 at Fort Sanders Hospital in Knoxville. Heaven gained an angel and will be greatly missed by his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and a host of friends and relatives. Tommy enjoyed spending time with his family, racing with his brothers and his nephews and enjoyed life.

He was preceded in death by his parents Wilmer & Marie Perkey; sister Lois Jeffers; and nephew Dusty Edmonds.

He is survived by brother Bobby Perkey and Mildred of LaFollette; sisters Patsy Perkey of Jacksboro; Linda and husband Lonnie Edmonds of LaFollette; Millie and husband Joseph Catania of Michigan; Pamela and Mike Durham of Ohio; and special friend Ann Montour and Leslie and Goodleaf.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Monday, October 19, 2015 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Stanfield Church of God with Rev. Delmus Bruce officiating. Interment will follow the service in Melvin Cemetery.
